• Passed legislation to protect our elections, our children and expand access to affordable healthcare:

  • AB120 - allows medical professionals who have not practiced for three consecutive years to volunteer their services after receiving a sponsorship by a qualified organizations.

  • AB248 (amended in AB45) - allocates $2.5 million annually for student loan repayment in underserved health care communities, with $250,000 for the Nevada Health Service Corps.

  • AB166 - increasing transparency in our elections by allowing political text messages to have an identifier letting the voter know who sent the message.

  •  AB360 - helps stop the sell of tobacco to underaged users by requiring retailers to validate the purchasers ID in a scanning system.
